News - UMSLV Newsletter September 2015

This third scarves event was held on the 30th July at Wonthaggi Neighbourhood Centre. As with the previous event in Korumbarra, it was held under the Gippsland Ethnic Communities Council (GECC) banner. UMSLV ladies (and children) took the bus from Morwell as arranged by GECC. Sister Khatija started off with a short Quran recitation. Despite a rocky start of trying to get the projector to work without success, Sister Sarah managed to tell her scarf story beautifully.
