UMSLV Newsletter 2018
On 22nd April 2017, the Muslim Sisters celebrated our fourth birthday.
The celebration was held at Trafalgar Anglican Church Hall. We invited everyone to celebrate with us. In keeping with our tradition of having a fundraiser on our birthday celebration, this year we decided to raise money for Berry Street’s School. To raise money we had a gold coin entrance and also had an auction of pot plants, gift vouchers, fruit baskets, picture frames and etc. All the things auctioned were donated by the community. We would like to thank everyone who joined us in the celebration, participated in a fun auction and donated on the day. We managed to raise $400. Wendy Farmer from Latrobe Valley Voices attended the celebration she said that she and her granddaughter had a great time and felt really welcomed at the event.
